LITTON CHENEY SOCIAL COMMITTEE
The committee has been in existence in its present form since 2001 with the objective of both organising and supporting social activities for the inhabitants of the Village .
Currently these include the well established Village Walks, Easter Day Duck Race, Summer BBQ, Barn Dance, and Carol Singing.
Support is given to the Children’s Christmas Party, fund raising for Children in Need and Julia’s House, and donations made to local groups to help start their activities including the revamped village website.
New ideas and suggestions are always welcome, as is help at any of the above events. Please email socialsec@littoncheney.org.uk

A Good New Year to everyone and we look forward to seeing you at many of our events. The first one being the Village Walk on Saturday 11th February starting from the Bus Shelter at 10.00 am. We are also keen to have suggestions of your favourite walks. Please give Steve a call (482552) a call, or join the walk and have a chat about it.
The walks continue throughout the year on the 2nd Saturday of the month apart from April and December. Dates for the Duck Race, Navigatonal Challenge, Summer BBQ, Barn Dance and Carol Singing are all on the Programme below.
Do make a note of the events and come along to as many as you can. Thank you to everyone who has supported the events this year and we look forward to an equally enjoyable 2012.
The New Year Days walk was eventful weatherwise .We had almost made it back to Litton when the heavens opened and it was a dozen or so "drowned rats" who were very pleased to find shelter in the White Horse, would you believe.A drink or two later, plus a large breakfast and we were ready to set out for pur homes.feeling very righteous that we had had some exercise.
Next walk is on February 11th, 10.00am from the bus shelter
